There are over 3934 records input in this dataset.

Principle data capture Technique - Information taken from the OSi 1:50k Discovery Series, 1:10,560 sheets (6 inch sheets) and GPS system to locate point features which have been projected using the National Irish Grid.

9. Quality Ratings

Spatial Accuracy : Positional Errors between 5 to 10 metres for GPS data resolution and errors up to 500 metres for data taken from six inches map, aerial photos and other sources.

Currency : Digital geometry and attributes are based on Groundwater feature parameters.

Thematic accuracy: Accuracy levels are given for each record.

Logical consistency : Data is consistent incorporated into ArcGIS 8.3. The Geometrical shape of the real structures reflects their geometry in the dataset.
